Project Details

For my own wedding, I designed a fully customised stationary suite, featuring hand-drawn illustrations that added a unique personal touch to every element. From invitations to the day-of signage, every piece was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the elegant yet whimsical aesthetic of our winter solstice wedding. The goal was to create a cohesive visual experience that blended classic romance with a personalised, artistic approach, ensuring that every detail felt intentional and meaningful for our guests.

The stationary was inspired by vintage charm with a modern, handmade feel. I incorporated  hand-drawn illustrations that added a bespoke, personal touch, including: custom cocktail illustrations for our signature drinks, icon-based order of the day timeline to guide guests seamlessly through the event, and delicate ribbons and borders to unify all pieces in an elegant way. I maintained a minimal black-and-white palette, for a timeless, refined aesthetic, while ensuring the hand-drawn details stood out. Finally, a script-style font was paired with handwritten elements to reinforce the artisanal, bespoke nature of the suit.

This wedding stationary suite successfully captured the essence of our special day - a celebration that was personal, artistic, and refined. The hand-drawn illustrations set it apart from traditional printed designs, making the experience memorable for guests while ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all elements of the event. By integrating custom artwork, thoughtful typography, and a timeless colour scheme, the suite reflected both our personalities and the overall ambiance of the wedding, proving that stationary can be more than just paper - it can be a meaningful part of the experience itself.
